Plain rubber wellies, by Daiichi brand.
The Daiichi brand was founded in 1935 as a rubber shoe manufacturer. Boots were used for work in the rainy season. Today it is the only factory in Japan that can manufacture rubber boots using the vulcanised manufacturing method, where the rubber is heated directly using the heat of volcanic water. Once the mould process has passed, each boot is finished one by one, thus being completely sealed and seamless.
